Dark Spot Correcting Serum

Ingredients

Distilled Water – 86.2 g
Niacinamide – 5 g
Alpha-Arbutin – 2 g
Glycerine – 3 g
Panthenol – 1 g
Hyaluronic Acid 1% Solution – 2 g
Euxyl PE 9010 – 0.8 g

Total: 100 g

Target pH: 5.0–5.5

Method

1. Sanitise all equipment, utensils and the final container.
2. Weigh the distilled water into a clean, sanitised beaker.
3. Add the glycerine and mix well.
4. Add the niacinamide and stir until completely dissolved.
5. Add the panthenol and mix until dissolved.
6. Add the Hyaluronic Acid 1% solution and mix gently.
7. Add Euxyl PE 9010 and mix thoroughly.
8. Allow the mixture to cool to below 40°C if it has been warmed during processing.
9. Add the Alpha-Arbutin and stir gently until completely dissolved.
10. Check the pH and adjust to 5.0–5.5 if necessary.
11. Transfer into a clean, sanitised opaque or UV-protective serum bottle, preferably an airless pump.
12. Label with the product name, batch number, date made and recommended storage conditions.

Storage – Dark Spot Correcting Serum

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
