Melasma-Prone Skin Brightening Cream – 100 g

• Distilled water — 69.5%
• Aloe vera liquid — 10%
• Glycerine — 3%
• Niacinamide — 4%
• Panthenol — 2%
• Alpha Arbutin — 2%
• Emulsifying Wax — 5%
• Jojoba Oil — 2%
• Squalane — 1%
• Vitamin E — 0.5%
• Euxyl PE 9010 — 1%

Total: 100%

Target pH: 5.0–5.5

Method

1. Combine the distilled water and aloe vera.
2. Add glycerine and mix well.
3. Heat the water phase and oil phase separately according to the requirements of your emulsifying wax.
4. Add the emulsifying wax, jojoba oil and squalane to the oil phase and heat until melted.
5. Combine the two phases and blend until a smooth emulsion forms.
6. Allow the cream to cool.
7. Below approximately 40°C, add the niacinamide, panthenol and alpha arbutin, mixing thoroughly.
8. Add vitamin E and Euxyl PE 9010 and mix well.
9. Check and adjust the pH to 5.0–5.5.
10. Package in a clean, preferably airless pump container.
