Creating a goat milk melt and pour shampoo bar is a fun and straightforward process. However, it’s essential to note that goat milk itself might not function well in a melt and pour base due to its properties.
500 g Goat milk Melt and Pour soap
1 tsp Mango Butter
2 tsp Castor Oil
20 drops Lavender Essential Oil
Bubble Go Spray
Cut your soap base and melt on low heat (you don’t want it to burn or boil)
Once melted add in the Mango Butter and allow that to melt
Remove from heat and mix in the Castor Oil
Add in the optional Lavender Oil
Make sure mould is on a firm, level, surface – pour the mixture into your mold nearly level
Spray with bubble go spray to prevent air bubbles
Let cool for several hours
Gently remove from the mould
Store in an air-tight container, they should be good for up to a year.
