Hair Conditioner with BTMS-85 – Recipe

This conditioner recipe can be customized with different oils, additives, and fragrances to suit your hair type and preferences.

10 g BTMS-85
10 g Cetyl alcohol
5 g Coconut oil
5 g Argan oil
5 g Shea butter
1 g Panthenol (optional, for added moisture)
1 g Hydrolyzed protein (optional, for strengthening)
85 g Distilled water or herbal tea (e.g., chamomile or lavender for added benefits)
1 g Preservative (optional, if you plan to store the conditioner for an extended period)
Instructions

1.In a heat-resistant container, combine the BTMS-85, cetyl alcohol, coconut oil, argan oil, and shea butter.

2.Place the container in a double boiler or microwave and heat until all the ingredients are melted and well combined. Be careful not to overheat.

3.Once melted, remove the container from heat and let it cool slightly.

4.In a separate container, combine the distilled water or herbal tea with any optional ingredients like panthenol or hydrolyzed protein.

5.Slowly pour the water mixture into the oil mixture while stirring continuously. This step may take some time to ensure that the ingredients are fully emulsified.

6.Once fully combined, let the conditioner cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to prevent separation.

7.If using a preservative, add it according to the manufacturer’s instructions and stir well.

8.Transfer the conditioner to a clean, sterilized container with a tight-fitting lid.

9.Label the container with the date and ingredients used.

How to Use

10.Apply a small amount of conditioner to clean, damp hair, focusing on the ends. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.
