500 g olive oil
 200 g coconut oil
 100 g palm oil
 50 g oleic acid
 138 g sodium hydroxide (lye)
 340 g distilled water
 Essential oils (optional)

1.Put on your safety goggles and rubber gloves.

2.Weigh out the coconut oil, palm oil, and olive oil in a stainless steel pot.

3.Heat the oils over low heat until the coconut oil and palm oil are fully melted.

4.Remove the pot from the heat and add the oleic acid. Stir until it has completely dissolved.

5.In a separate container, weigh out the lye and add it to the distilled water. Stir well until the lye has completely dissolved.

6.Allow both the lye mixture and the oil mixture to cool to around 110°F (43°C).

7.Slowly pour the lye mixture into the oil mixture while stirring with a stick blender.

8.Blend the mixture until it reaches a light trace, meaning that it has thickened slightly.

9.If using essential oils, add them now and blend again until fully incorporated.

10.Pour the soap mixture into a soap mold and let it sit for 24-48 hours, or until fully hardened.

11.Once the soap has hardened, remove it from the mold and cut it into bars.

12.Allow the bars to cure for at least 4-6 weeks, turning them occasionally to ensure even drying.

And there you have it! A recipe for making soap with oleic acid. Please note that soap making can be dangerous if proper precautions are not taken, so be sure to follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
