NIVEA-STYLE SHOWER OIL

Makes 500 g

Ingredients

Oil Phase

• 300 g Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (CCT) — 60%
• 75 g Sweet Almond Oil — 15%
• 25 g Jojoba Oil — 5%

Solubilising/Emulsifying Phase

• 75 g Polysorbate 80 — 15%
• 20 g PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil — 4%

Finishing

• 2.5 g Vitamin E — 0.5%
• 2.5 g Fragrance Oil — 0.5%

TOTAL: 500 g

Method

1. Add the CCT, Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba Oil to a clean, dry mixing container.
2. Add the Polysorbate 80 and PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.
3. Mix slowly and thoroughly until completely uniform.
4. Add the Vitamin E and fragrance oil.
5. Mix gently until fully incorporated.
6. Allow the mixture to stand until any air bubbles have disappeared.
7. Pour into a clean, dry pump or squeeze bottle.

Important – NIVEA-STYLE SHOWER OIL

This is an anhydrous shower oil, meaning it contains no water.

Use on wet skin, massage gently and rinse thoroughly.

Take care when using in the shower as oils can make the shower floor slippery.
