Premium Magnesium Comfort Cream

A rich, fast-absorbing cream formulated to moisturize and soothe tired legs and feet.

Phase A (Water Phase)

  • Distilled Water – 56.7%
  • Magnesium Chloride Flakes – 10.0%
  • MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) – 5.0%
  • Glycerine – 3.0%
  • Allantoin – 0.3%

B (Oil Phase)

  • Emulsifying Wax NF – 6.0%
  • Cetyl Alcohol – 3.0%
  • Arnica Infused Oil – 5.0%
  • Sweet Almond Oil – 3.0%
  • Jojoba Oil – 2.0%
  • Shea Butter – 2.0%

C (Cool Down Phase)

  • D-Panthenol – 2.0%
  • Vitamin E – 0.5%
  • Lavender Essential Oil – 0.3% (optional)
  • Euxyl PE 9010 – 1.0%

Total = 100%

Method

  1. Combine the distilled water, magnesium chloride flakes, MSM, glycerine and allantoin in a heatproof beaker.
  2. Heat to 70–75°C, stirring until the magnesium chloride, MSM and allantoin have completely dissolved.
  3. In a separate beaker, combine the Emulsifying Wax NF, cetyl alcohol, arnica infused oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and shea butter. Heat to 70–75°C until fully melted.
  4. Slowly pour the oil phase into the water phase while mixing with a stick blender until a smooth emulsion forms.
  5. Continue mixing while the cream cools.
  6. Once the temperature has dropped below 40°C, add the Vitamin E, lavender essential oil (if using) and Euxyl PE 9010. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Check the pH and adjust to between 5.0 and 5.5 if necessary.
  8. Fill into clean, sanitized jars or airless pump bottles.

Directions for Use

Massage a small amount into the calves, legs or feet once or twice daily, especially before bedtime or after physical activity. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
