Method
- Combine the distilled water, vegetable glycerine and hydroxyethylcellulose. Mix well and allow the hydroxyethylcellulose to fully hydrate. Heat to 70–75°C.
- In a separate beaker, combine the caprylic/capric triglyceride, emulsifying wax NF, cetyl alcohol, cocoa butter and dimethicone. Heat to 70–75°C until completely melted.
- Slowly add the oil phase to the water phase while blending with a stick blender or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
- Continue stirring while the cream cools.
- Once the temperature is below 40°C, add the following ingredients one at a time, mixing well after each addition:
- Niacinamide
- Panthenol
- Hyaluronic Acid (1% Solution)
- Aloe Phytelene EGX 232
- Roman Chamomile Phytelene
- Hydrolysed Wheat Protein
- Vitamin E
- Euxyl® PE 9010
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Frankincense Essential Oil
- Geranium Essential Oil
- Check and adjust the pH to 5.0–5.5 if necessary.
- Fill into sanitised jars or airless pump bottles and allow the cream to mature for 24 hours before use.
Result: A rich yet elegant facial moisturiser that provides long-lasting hydration, supports the skin barrier, helps improve skin softness and smoothness, and leaves a silky, non-greasy finish.
