DIY Oat & Lavender Soothing Body Scrub

Treat your skin to this gentle exfoliating body scrub that helps remove dead skin cells while leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. This simple water-free recipe is perfect for beginners and makes a wonderful handmade gift.

Ingredients (300 g Batch)

  • 200 g White Sugar
  • 50 g Colloidal Oatmeal
  • 48 g Sweet Almond Oil
  • 2 g Vitamin E Oil
  • 0.6 g Lavender Essential Oil
  • 0.4 g Roman Chamomile Essential Oil

Method

  1. In a clean, dry bowl, combine the white sugar and colloidal oatmeal.
  2. Add the sweet almond oil and mix until the sugar is evenly coated.
  3. Stir in the Vitamin E Oil.
  4. Add the lavender and Roman chamomile essential oils and mix thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the scrub into a clean, dry, airtight container and seal.

How to Use

Massage a small amount onto damp skin using gentle circular motions, paying extra attention to rough areas such as elbows, knees, and heels. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat the skin dry. Use once or twice a week.
