3D BRIGHTENING SERUM

Ingredients

• Distilled Water – q.s. to 100 g
• Glycerine – 4 g
• Niacinamide – 5 g
• Alpha Arbutin – 2 g
• Panthenol – 2 g
• Water-Soluble Licorice Extract – 2 g
• Aloe Vera Extract/Juice – 2 g
• Xanthan Gum – 0.2 g
• Euxyl PE 9010 – 1 g
• Citric Acid Solution – q.s. to pH 5.8–6.2

Method

1. Sanitise all equipment, utensils and your packaging.
2. Mix the glycerine and xanthan gum together to make a smooth slurry.
3. Add the slurry to the distilled water and mix thoroughly.
4. Allow the xanthan gum to hydrate completely.
5. Add the niacinamide and panthenol and mix until fully dissolved.
6. Allow the mixture to cool below 40°C.
7. Add the alpha arbutin and mix until completely dissolved.
8. Add the licorice extract and aloe vera.
9. Add Euxyl PE 9010 and mix thoroughly.
10. Check the pH using a calibrated pH meter.
11. Slowly adjust the pH to 5.8–6.2 using a suitable citric acid solution.
12. Add enough distilled water to bring the total batch weight to exactly 100 g.
13. Mix gently until completely uniform.
14. Fill into a clean, sanitised airless pump or suitable serum bottle.

A lightweight brightening facial serum formulated with niacinamide, alpha arbutin, panthenol and licorice extract to help improve the appearance of dull, uneven-looking skin and promote a smoother, more radiant complexion.
