Intensive Softening Foot Mask
Batch Size: 500 g
Phase A – Water Phase
- Distilled Water — 330 g
- Aloe Vera Liquid — 50 g
- Glycerine — 25 g
PhaseB – Oil Phase
- Shea Butter — 30 g
- Sweet Almond Oil — 25 g
- Emulsifying Wax — 20 g
Phase C – Cool-Down Phase
- Urea — 10 g
- Panthenol — 5 g
- Vitamin E — 2 g
- Euxyl PE 9010 — 3 g
- Fragrance or Essential Oil — 1–2 g
Method
- Add the distilled water, aloe vera liquid and glycerine to a heat-resistant container. Heat to approximately 70–75°C.
- In a separate container, combine the shea butter, sweet almond oil and emulsifying wax. Heat to 70–75°C until completely melted.
- Slowly add the oil phase to the water phase while mixing. Blend until you have a smooth, uniform emulsion.
- Continue mixing gently while the cream cools.
- Once the temperature is below 40°C, add the urea, panthenol, vitamin E, Euxyl PE 9010 and fragrance or essential oil.
- Mix thoroughly until completely uniform.
- Check the pH and adjust to approximately 5.0–5.5 if necessary.
- Transfer into a clean, sanitised jar or tube.
How to Use
Apply a generous layer to clean, dry feet, concentrating on the heels and other rough areas.
Leave on for 15–20 minutes, then wipe or rinse off.
For very dry feet, apply a thinner layer before bedtime and wear cotton socks overnight.
Important
- Do not apply to open wounds, bleeding cracks or irritated skin.
- Perform a patch test before use.
- Keep water and wet hands out of the container.
- If making this product for sale, conduct appropriate stability and preservative/challenge testing before marketing.
