Brightening Cleanser (100g)

Ingredients

Phase A

• 54g Distilled Water
• 5g Glycerine

Phase B

• 20g SLES 28%
• 10g Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Phase C

• 0.5g Kojic Acid
• 2g Niacinamide

Phase D

• 1g Preservative
• 0.5g Fragrance (optional)
• Citric Acid Solution (to adjust pH to 5–5.5)

Method

1. Combine the distilled water and glycerine.
2. Slowly add the surfactants, stirring gently to avoid excessive foaming.
3. Dissolve the kojic acid in a small amount of warm water and add to the mixture.
4. Add the niacinamide and mix well.
5. Add the preservative and fragrance if desired.
6. Adjust the pH to 5–5.5.
7. Bottle and label.

 Brightening Toner (100g)

Ingredients

Phase A

• 78g Distilled Water
• 10g Rose Water
• 3g Glycerine

Phase B

• 0.5g Kojic Acid
• 2g Alpha Arbutin
• 3g Niacinamide

Phase C

• 1g Preservative
• Citric Acid Solution (to adjust pH to 4.5–5)

Method

1. Combine the distilled water, rose water and glycerine.
2. Dissolve the kojic acid in a small amount of warm water and add.
3. Add the alpha arbutin and niacinamide, stirring until fully dissolved.
4. Add the preservative.
5. Adjust the pH to 4.5–5.
6. Bottle and label.

Brightening Serum (30g)

Ingredients

Phase A

• 22g Distilled Water
• 4g Glycerine
• 2g Niacinamide

Phase B

• 0.5g Kojic Acid
• 1g Alpha Arbutin

Phase C

• 0.8g Preservative
• Citric Acid Solution (to adjust pH to 4.5–5)

Method

1. Combine the distilled water, glycerine and niacinamide.
2. Dissolve the kojic acid separately in a small amount of warm water and add to the mixture.
3. Add the alpha arbutin and stir until fully dissolved.
4. Add the preservative.
5. Adjust the pH to 4.5–5.
6. Bottle in a suitable serum container.

 Brightening Cream (100g)

Ingredients

Phase A

• 65g Distilled Water
• 5g Glycerine

Phase B

• 6g Emulsifying Wax
• 8g Sweet Almond Oil
• 2g Cetyl Alcohol

Phase C

• 1g Kojic Acid
• 3g Niacinamide
• 2g Alpha Arbutin
• 0.5g Vitamin E
• 1g Preservative

Method

1. Heat Phase A and Phase B separately to approximately 70°C.
2. Combine the phases and blend until a smooth emulsion forms.
3. Allow to cool below 40°C.
4. Add all Phase C ingredients and mix thoroughly.
5. Adjust the pH to 4.5–5.5.
6. Fill into jars or airless containers.

• Maintain a final pH between 4.5 and 5.5 for optimal stability.
• Store products in cool conditions away from direct sunlight.
• Dark or opaque packaging is recommended when using kojic acid.
