Creating a simple hand and body lotion at home can be a delightful and moisturizing addition to your skincare routine.
Makes approx 2.0 Litres
PHASE A
1.80 l Water hot deionised water
90 g Emulsifying wax
150 g White petroleum jelly
100 ml vitamin e oil
Optional – add preservative
Optional add fragrance / water soluble dye
Heat the water to boiling point.
While doing this, melt the. ret of the ingredients together in a stainless steel pot over the stove.
Once the water is heated and the oils are melted, combine the melted ingredients to the water and stir until dissolved.
Stir occasionally until cooled and smooth.
Decant into containers.
