Water Phase
Distilled Water – 145g
Aloe Vera Liquid – 40g
Vegetable Glycerine – 7.5g
Oil Phase
Sweet Almond Oil – 20g
Rosehip Oil – 10g
Emulsifying Wax – 15g
Cool Down Phase
Niacinamide – 12.5g
Licorice Root Extract – 2.5g
Vitamin E Oil – 1.25g
Preservative – 1.25g
Total: 255g
To make it exactly 250g, reduce the distilled water to 140g.
Final 250g Formula
Distilled Water – 140g
Aloe Vera Liquid – 40g
Vegetable Glycerine – 7.5g
Sweet Almond Oil – 20g
Rosehip Oil – 10g
Emulsifying Wax – 15g
Niacinamide – 12.5g
Licorice Root Extract – 2.5g
Vitamin E Oil – 1.25g
Preservative – 1.25g
Total: 250g
Method
Heat the distilled water, aloe vera liquid, and glycerine to 70–75°C.
Heat the sweet almond oil, rosehip oil, and emulsifying wax to 70–75°C.
Pour the oil phase into the water phase and blend until emulsified.
Continue mixing while cooling.
Below 40°C, add the niacinamide, licorice root extract, vitamin E, and preservative.
Mix thoroughly and package into clean containers.
Yield: Approximately 250ml lotion (enough for one 250ml bottle or five 50ml jars).
