NATURAL MAGNESIUM UNDERARM SPRAY

A gentle, refreshing underarm spray designed to help neutralise body odour while providing a fresh, clean feeling.

Ingredients

• 595 g Distilled Water
• 200 g Witch Hazel
• 100 g Magnesium Chloride Solution 30%
• 50 g Preserved Aloe Vera Gel
• 20 g Glycerine
• 20 g Polysorbate 80
• 10 g Euxyl PE 9010
• 5 g Fragrance Oil

Total: 1,000 g

Method

1. Ensure all equipment, utensils and containers are clean and sanitised.
2. In a small beaker, combine the 20 g Polysorbate 80 with the 5 g Fragrance Oil. Mix thoroughly until the fragrance is well incorporated.
3. In a separate mixing container, add the 595 g Distilled Water and 200 g Witch Hazel.
4. Add the 100 g Magnesium Chloride Solution, followed by the 50 g Preserved Aloe Vera Gel and 20 g Glycerine. Mix thoroughly.
5. Slowly add the Polysorbate 80 and fragrance mixture to the main batch while stirring continuously.
6. Add the 10 g Euxyl PE 9010 and mix thoroughly.
7. Check the pH and adjust if necessary to approximately pH 5.0–5.5.
8. Allow the finished spray to stand for 24–48 hours and check for any separation or changes before filling.
9. Fill into clean spray bottles.

Important

This is a natural deodorant spray, not a conventional antiperspirant. Magnesium chloride and witch hazel may help with freshness and odour control, but they should not be marketed as stopping or preventing perspiration in the same way that aluminium-based antiperspirants do.

If using a different fragrance oil, the amount of Polysorbate 80 may need adjustment because different fragrances have different solubilisation requirements.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and do not apply to irritated or freshly shaved skin if it causes stinging.
