Gentle Intimate Wash Recipe
Target pH: 4.0–4.5 (important for intimate health)
Ingredients
Phase A (Water Phase)

Distilled water – 73 g
-
Aloe vera juice (or gel, liquid) – 15 g
-
Vegetable glycerin – 3 g
Phase B (Surfactants – very mild)
-
Coco Glucoside – 5 g
-
Decyl Glucoside – 2 g
Phase C (Actives & Preservative)
-
Lactic acid (80% solution) – 0.5–1 g (adjust to pH)

Panthenol (Vitamin B5) – 1 g
-
Preservative (e.g. Geogard ECT or Cosgard) – 1 g
Optional (very gentle scent – optional but recommended fragrance-free)

Lavender hydrosol (replace part of water)
OR -
Chamomile hydrosol
Avoid essential oils in intimate washes unless professionally formulated.
Method

Sanitise all utensils and containers.

Combine Phase A ingredients and mix well.

Slowly add Phase B surfactants, stirring gently to avoid foam.

Add Phase C ingredients.

Check pH using pH strips or meter.

Adjust pH to 4.0–4.5 using small amounts of lactic acid.

Bottle in a pump or flip-top bottle.
How to Use

Use externally only

Apply a small amount, rinse thoroughly

Suitable for daily use

3–6 months (with preservative)

Store away from heat and sunlight
