Natural All-Purpose Cleaner (500 ml)
Ingredients
- 495 ml Distilled Water
- 5 ml Liquid Castile Soap
- 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil (optional)
- 10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil (optional)
Method
- Add the distilled water to a 500 ml spray bottle.
- Add the Castile soap.
- Add the essential oils if desired.
- Shake gently before each use.
Suitable for: Kitchen counters, cupboards, painted surfaces, tiles and most washable surfaces.
Do Not Use On: Marble, granite, natural stone or unsealed wood.
Natural Vinegar Descaler (500 ml)
Ingredients
- 500 ml White Vinegar (5% acidity)
Method
Pour into a spray bottle.
Suitable for: Shower glass, taps, kettles, toilets and limescale.
Do Not Use On: Marble, granite or natural stone.
Glass & Mirror Cleaner (500 ml)
Ingredients
- 450 ml Distilled Water
- 40 ml White Vinegar
- 10 ml Isopropyl Alcohol (70–99%)
Method
Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake gently.
Spray onto glass and wipe with a lint-free microfiber cloth.
Soft Scrubbing Paste
Ingredients
- 150 g Bicarbonate of Soda
- 45 ml Liquid Castile Soap
- 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil
Method
Mix until a smooth paste forms.
Apply with a sponge, scrub, then rinse.
Suitable for sinks, baths, tiles and stovetops.
Natural Toilet Cleaner
Ingredients
- 150 g Bicarbonate of Soda
- 100 ml White Vinegar
- 10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Method
- Sprinkle the bicarbonate into the toilet bowl.
- Add the tea tree essential oil.
- Scrub the bowl.
- Pour in the vinegar.
- Leave for 20–30 minutes.
- Scrub again and flush.
Natural Floor Cleaner (5 Litres)
Ingredients
- 5 L Warm Water
- 35 ml Liquid Castile Soap
- 15 drops Lemon Essential Oil
Method
Mix together and mop sealed tile, laminate and vinyl floors.
Natural Furniture Polish
Ingredients
- 100 ml Olive Oil
- 30 ml White Vinegar
- 2 g Vitamin E Oil (optional)
- 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil
Method
Shake before use.
Apply a small amount to a soft cloth and buff wooden furniture.
Natural Air Freshener (250 ml)
Ingredients
- 220 ml Distilled Water
- 30 ml Witch Hazel or Vodka
- 20–30 drops Essential Oil
Method
Mix together in a spray bottle.
Shake well before each use.
Natural Laundry Washing Powder (1 kg)
Ingredients
- 500 g Sodium Carbonate (Washing Soda)
- 300 g Sodium Bicarbonate
- 150 g Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS)
- 50 g Fine Sea Salt (optional)
Optional
- 10–15 g Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil
Method
- Wear gloves, eye protection and a dust mask.
- Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly.
- Add fragrance slowly while mixing continuously.
- Store in an airtight container.
Directions
- Front Loader: 30 g (2 tablespoons)
- Top Loader: 45 g (3 tablespoons)
- Heavy Soiling: Up to 60 g (4 tablespoons)
Pre-treat stubborn stains with laundry soap or liquid Castile soap before washing.
Natural Carpet Freshener
Ingredients
- 500 g Bicarbonate of Soda
- 20 drops Lavender Essential Oil
Method
Mix thoroughly.
Leave overnight before use to allow the oil to absorb.
Sprinkle lightly over carpets.
Leave for 30 minutes before vacuuming.
