Tallow Renewal Night Cream

A rich, nourishing night cream formulated with grass-fed tallow, jojoba, grapeseed, safflower, sweet almond and rosehip oils, with frankincense essential oil.

Formula – 100 g

Phase A – Water Phase

• Distilled water — 55 g
• Glycerine — 3 g

Phase B – Oil Phase

• Grass-fed beef tallow — 10 g
• Jojoba oil — 6 g
• Grapeseed oil — 5 g
• Safflower oil — 4 g
• Sweet almond oil — 3 g
• Rosehip seed oil — 2 g
• Castor oil — 1 g
• Emulsifying Wax NF — 8 g

Phase C – Cool-Down Phase

• Hydrolysed wheat protein — 1 g
• Vitamin E — 0.5 g
• Euxyl PE 9010 — 1 g
• Frankincense essential oil — 0.5 g

Total: 100 g

Method

1. Combine the distilled water and glycerine in a suitable heat-resistant container.
2. In a separate container, combine the tallow, oils and Emulsifying Wax NF.
3. Heat both phases separately to approximately 75–80°C, ensuring the tallow and emulsifying wax are completely melted.
4. Add the heated oil phase to the heated water phase while continuously mixing.
5. Homogenise until a smooth, uniform emulsion is formed.
6. Continue gentle mixing while the cream cools.
7. When the cream has cooled below 40°C, add the hydrolysed wheat protein, vitamin E, Euxyl PE 9010 and frankincense essential oil.
8. Mix thoroughly.
9. Allow the cream to cool completely.
10. Transfer into a clean, suitable cosmetic container, preferably an airless pump.

Grass-fed tallow provides a rich emollient base, while jojoba, grapeseed, safflower, sweet almond and rosehip oils help condition and moisturise the skin. Vitamin E provides antioxidant support, while frankincense gives the cream a warm, botanical aroma.
