KIDS BATH FUN RECIPE COLLECTION

  1. BATH CRAYONS – 100 g

Ingredients: • Melt & Pour Soap Base – 70 g • Stearic Acid – 15 g • Kaolin Clay – 10 g • Glycerine – 4 g • Cosmetic Colour – 1 g

Method: Melt the soap base and stearic acid gently. Add the kaolin clay and mix thoroughly. Add the glycerine and cosmetic colour. Mix well and pour into crayon-shaped silicone moulds. Allow to cool and harden completely before removing.

Use: Use the crayons on wet bath surfaces. Rinse the bath thoroughly after use.

  1. BATH PLAY DOUGH – 100 g

Ingredients: • SLSa – 25 g • Corn Starch – 30 g • Kaolin Clay – 20 g • Cream of Tartar – 5 g • Glycerine – 15 g • Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 4 g • Cosmetic Colour – 1 g

Method: Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly. Add the glycerine gradually while mixing, the Cocamidopropyl Betaine and knead until a soft, workable dough forms. Add colour and knead until evenly distributed.

Use: Children can mould the dough into shapes and use it in the bath. Rinse thoroughly after use.

Packaging: Store in an airtight container and keep away from water when not in use.

  1. BATH PAINT – 100 g

Ingredients: • Distilled Water – 78 g • Glycerine – 8 g • Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 7 g • Decyl Glucoside – 5 g • Xanthan Gum – 0.5 g • Hydroxyethylcellulose – 0.5 g • Euxyl PE 9010 – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Premix the Xanthan Gum with the glycerine. Add to the distilled water and allow it to hydrate fully. Add the Hydroxyethylcellulose and allow it to hydrate. Slowly add the surfactants while mixing gently to avoid excessive foam. Add Euxyl PE 9010 and mix thoroughly.

Adjust the final pH to approximately 5.0–5.5.

Use: Apply to wet bath surfaces using fingers, brushes or sponges. Rinse the bath thoroughly after use.

  1. FOAMING BATH DOUGH – 100 g

Ingredients: • SLSa – 30 g • Sodium Bicarbonate – 20 g • Corn Starch – 20 g • Kaolin Clay – 10 g • Glycerine – 16 g • Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 3 g • Cosmetic Colour – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly. Add the glycerine gradually while mixing. Add the Cocamidopropyl Betaine and knead until a soft, mouldable dough is formed.

Use: Shape into balls, animals, flowers or other fun shapes and use in the bath.

  1. KIDS BATH BOMBS – 100 g

Ingredients: • Sodium Bicarbonate – 60 g • Citric Acid – 30 g • Corn Starch – 5 g • Kaolin Clay – 4 g • Polysorbate 80 – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly. Add cosmetic colour and fragrance if required, reducing the Sodium Bicarbonate by the same amount.

Lightly mist with witch hazel or another suitable binder while mixing until the mixture just holds together when squeezed. Press firmly into moulds and leave to dry completely.

Use: Drop one bath bomb into warm bath water and allow it to fizz.

  1. FOAMING BATH SALTS – 100 g

Ingredients: • Epsom Salt – 60 g • Fine Sea Salt – 20 g • SLSa – 10 g • Sodium Bicarbonate – 5 g • Polysorbate 80 – 3 g • Fragrance – 1 g • Cosmetic Colour – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Mix the Epsom Salt, sea salt, SLSa and sodium bicarbonate. Premix the fragrance, colour and Polysorbate 80. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Package in a moisture-resistant container.

Use: Add a small amount to warm running bath water.

  1. KIDS BATH GEL/SLIME – 100 g

Ingredients: • Distilled Water – 79 g • Glycerine – 5 g • Hydroxyethylcellulose – 2 g • Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 7 g • Decyl Glucoside – 5 g • Euxyl PE 9010 – 1 g • Cosmetic Colour – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Disperse the Hydroxyethylcellulose into the glycerine. Add to the distilled water and allow it to hydrate fully. Slowly add the surfactants while mixing gently. Add Euxyl PE 9010 and cosmetic colour.

Adjust the final pH to approximately 5.0–5.5.

Use: Use a small amount in the bath and rinse thoroughly after use.

  1. KIDS SHOWER STEAMERS – 100 g

Ingredients: • Sodium Bicarbonate – 65 g • Citric Acid – 25 g • Corn Starch – 7 g • Kaolin Clay – 3 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly. Add an appropriate fragrance if required, reducing the Sodium Bicarbonate by the same amount.

Mist very lightly with a suitable binder while mixing until the mixture holds together when pressed. Press into moulds and allow to dry completely.

Use: Place one steamer on the shower floor where it will receive small amounts of water and release fragrance.

  1. GENTLE BUBBLE BATH – 100 g

Ingredients: • Distilled Water – 68.5 g • Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 15 g • Decyl Glucoside – 8 g • Coco Glucoside – 5 g • Glycerine – 2 g • Hydroxyethylcellulose – 0.5 g • Euxyl PE 9010 – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Ingredients: • Distilled Water – 68 g • Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 15 g • Decyl Glucoside – 8 g • Coco Glucoside – 5 g • Glycerine – 2.5 g • Hydroxyethylcellulose – 0.5 g • Euxyl PE 9010 – 1 g

Total – 100 g

Method: Disperse the Hydroxyethylcellulose into the glycerine. Add to the distilled water and allow it to hydrate fully. Slowly add the surfactants while mixing gently. Add Euxyl PE 9010.

Adjust the final pH to approximately 5.0–5.5.

Use: Apply to wet skin, lather gently and rinse thoroughly.
