INGREDIENTS

Distilled Water – 55.5 g

Aloe Vera Juice – 10 g

Cocamidopropyl Betaine – 10 g

Decyl Glucoside – 8 g

Coco Glucoside – 6 g

Lauryl Glucoside – 5 g

Glycerine – 2 g

Panthenol – 1 g

Niacinamide – 1 g

Hydroxyethylcellulose – 0.5 g

Euxyl PE 9010 – 1 g

Citric Acid Solution – q.s. to pH 5.0–5.5

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Weigh the distilled water into a clean, sanitised mixing container.
  2. Mix the glycerine and hydroxyethylcellulose together until you have a smooth, lump-free slurry.
  3. Slowly add the slurry to the distilled water while mixing. Allow the hydroxyethylcellulose to fully hydrate.
  4. Add the aloe vera juice, niacinamide and panthenol. Mix until completely dissolved and uniform.
  5. Slowly add the cocamidopropyl betaine and mix gently.
  6. Add the decyl glucoside, coco glucoside and lauryl glucoside one at a time, mixing gently after each addition. Avoid vigorous mixing to prevent excessive foam.
  7. Add Euxyl PE 9010 and mix thoroughly.
  8. Measure the pH using a calibrated pH meter.
  9. Add diluted citric acid solution gradually until the pH is between 5.0 and 5.5.
  10. Allow the shampoo to stand until most of the air bubbles have disappeared.
  11. Recheck the pH and make any final adjustment required.
  12. Check the final weight and add a small amount of distilled water if necessary to bring the batch to exactly 100 g.
  13. Mix gently until completely uniform and transfer into a clean, suitable shampoo bottle.

STORAGE

Store in a clean, tightly closed container away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
