Gardenia Luxury Bath Salt Recipe

• Epsom Salt – 400 g
• Coarse Sea Salt – 350 g
• Fine Sea Salt – 150 g
• Sodium Bicarbonate – 50 g
• Kaolin Clay – 30 g
• Polysorbate 80 – 10 g
• Gardenia Fragrance Oil – 10 g
• Approved Bath Salt Dye – as required

Method

1. Add the Epsom salt, coarse sea salt, fine sea salt, sodium bicarbonate and kaolin clay to a clean mixing bowl.
2. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
3. In a separate container, combine the Gardenia fragrance oil and Polysorbate 80.
4. Add a small amount of your approved bath salt dye and mix well.
5. Slowly add the fragrance mixture to the salts while mixing continuously.
6. Mix thoroughly until the fragrance and colour are evenly distributed.
7. Spread the bath salt onto a clean tray in a thin layer.
8. Allow it to dry completely.
9. Break up any lumps and package in an airtight container.

Suggested use: Add 100–150 g to a warm bath
