Glow Hand & Body Lotion

Ingredients

• 120 g Cremex
• 830 g Hot Deionised Water (80°C)
• 50 g Niacinamide (5%)

Total Batch Size: 1,000 g (approximately 1 litre)

Method

1. Heat the deionised water to approximately 80°C.
2. Slowly sprinkle the Cremex into the hot water while stirring continuously.
3. Stir until the Cremex is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
4. Allow the lotion to cool to below 40°C.
5. Add the niacinamide and stir until completely dissolved.
6. Check that the pH is between 5.0 and 6.0. Adjust if necessary.
7. Pour into clean, sanitised bottles and allow the lotion to stand overnight to reach its final thickness.

Notes

• Cremex already contains a preservative, so no additional preservative is normally required.
• Always use clean, sanitised equipment and deionised water.
• If adding any additional ingredients, reduce the amount of water by the same weight to keep the total batch size at 1,000 g.
