Lightweight Moisturising Shampoo

Makes: 1 kg

Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES 28%)	20.0	200 g
Cocamidopropyl Betaine	10.0	100 g
Coco Glucoside	5.0	50 g
Glycerine	2.5	25 g
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)	1.0	10 g
Hydrolysed Wheat Protein	0.5	5 g
Polyquaternium-7	0.3	3 g
Euxyl PE 9010	1.0	10 g
Fragrance	0.5	5 g
Total	100%	1000 g

Method

1. Add the distilled water to the main vessel.
2. Add the glycerine and mix well.
3. Slowly stir in the SLES.
4. Add the Cocamidopropyl Betaine.
5. Add the Coco Glucoside and mix gently to minimise foam.
6. Add the Panthenol.
7. Add the Hydrolysed Wheat Protein.
8. Add the Polyquaternium-7.
9. Cool to below 40°C.
10. Add the fragrance.
11. Add Euxyl PE 9010.
12. Adjust the pH to 5.0–5.5 using a citric acid solution.
13. Bottle.

Lightweight Conditioner

Makes: 1 kg

Ingredient	%	Weight (g)

BTMS-50	4.0	40 g
Cetyl Alcohol	2.0	20 g
Glycerine	3.0	30 g
Jojoba Oil	1.0	10 g
Panthenol	1.0	10 g
Hydrolysed Wheat Protein	0.5	5 g
Vitamin E	0.2	2 g
Fragrance	0.3	3 g
Euxyl PE 9010	1.0	10 g
Total	100%	1000 g

Method

1. Heat the distilled water and glycerine to 75°C.
2. In a separate vessel, heat the BTMS-50, Cetyl Alcohol and Jojoba Oil to 75°C until melted.
3. Add the oil phase to the water phase while mixing.
4. Continue mixing until a smooth emulsion forms.
5. Cool with gentle stirring.
6. Below 40°C, add the Panthenol, Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, Vitamin E, fragrance and Euxyl PE 9010.
7. Adjust the pH to 4.5–5.0.
8. Bottle.

Lightweight Leave-in Conditioning Spray

Makes: 1 kg

Panthenol	1.0	10 g
Polyquaternium-7	0.3	3 g
Hydrolysed Wheat Protein	0.5	5 g
Fragrance	0.2	2 g
Euxyl PE 9010	1.0	10 g
Total	100%	1000 g

Method

1. Add the distilled water to the mixing vessel.
2. Add the glycerine and mix until dissolved.
3. Add the Panthenol.
4. Add the Hydrolysed Wheat Protein.
5. Add the Polyquaternium-7.
6. Below 40°C, add the fragrance and Euxyl PE 9010.
7. Adjust the pH to 4.5–5.0.
8. Bottle in a fine mist spray bottle.
